Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Catholic Psychotherapist. By enrolling in the Sanctus Healing Programme ("Programme"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Programme integrates psychotherapeutic concepts with Catholic doctrine and teaching. It is designed for educational and personal development purposes and is not a substitute for professional psychological or psychiatric treatment or medication.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in the Programme.

  • The Programme is intended for individuals seeking education, guidance and personal development and does not replace medical, psychiatric or psychological treatment.

  • By enrolling, you confirm that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and decision-making.

3. Nature of the Programme

  • The Programme is not psychotherapy, counselling or medical treatment.

  • It is intended for educational and personal development purposes, using a combination of psychotherapeutic principles and Catholic teaching.

  • Participation in the Programme does not create a therapist-client relationship.

  • The Programme does not diagnose any mental health condition.

  • Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional help when necessary.

4. Disclaimer

  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or psychiatric treatment through the Programme.

  • We make no guarantee regarding specific outcomes or results. Individual outcomes depend upon many factors, including participation, personal circumstances and individual effort.

  • If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts or another emergency, you should seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance immediately.

5. Confidentiality

  • We respect participant privacy. However, because the coaching calls take place in a group setting, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.

  • Participants are expected to respect the privacy of other participants and to keep information shared during group discussions confidential.

  • We may disclose information where required by law or where we reasonably believe there is an imminent risk of serious harm.

6. Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Programme Fees

The total price of the Programme, together with the price attributable to the Online Programme and, where applicable, the Group Coaching Package, will be clearly stated before purchase.

The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed and accepted by you at the time of enrolment.

Unless an instalment plan has expressly been agreed, payment must be made in full before enrolment is confirmed.

6.2 Your 14-Day Right to Cancel

If you purchase the Programme online, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of entering into the contract without giving any reason.

The cancellation period begins on the day after the contract is entered into and lasts for 14 calendar days.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision to cancel by emailing:

You may use the model cancellation form provided in Section 6.7, but you are not required to do so.

Subject to the provisions concerning immediate access to digital content below, if you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period, all payments to which you are entitled will be refunded within 14 days of us receiving notice of your cancellation.

6.3 Online Programme Access During the 14-Day Cancellation Period

At the time of purchase, you will be given a choice regarding access to the Online Programme.

Option A — Access after the 14-day cancellation period

You may choose not to access the Online Programme until your 14-day cancellation period has expired.

If you choose this option and cancel during the 14-day cancellation period, you will receive a full refund of all sums paid.

Option B — Immediate access

You may instead expressly request immediate access to the Online Programme during the 14-day cancellation period.

Before immediate access is provided, you will be required to expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning during the cancellation period and acknowledge that, once supply of that digital content begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel in respect of the Online Programme.

If you choose immediate access and subsequently decide during the 14-day cancellation period that you do not wish to continue with the Group Coaching Package, the amount paid for the Group Coaching Package will be refunded. The amount attributable to the Online Programme will not be refunded once digital supply has begun following your express consent and acknowledgement.

The respective prices of the Online Programme and Group Coaching Package will be clearly stated before purchase and confirmed to you following purchase.

6.4 Group Coaching Calls

The Group Coaching Package consists of the number of group coaching calls specified in the offer at the time of purchase.

Group coaching calls will not commence until the initial 14-day cancellation period has expired.

The Group Coaching Package does not include individual one-to-one coaching calls unless these are expressly stated as part of the offer at the time of purchase.

6.5 Cancellation After the 14-Day Cancellation Period

After the 14-day cancellation period has expired, you may withdraw from the Programme at any time by notifying us in writing.

If you withdraw after the Group Coaching Package has commenced, the unused portion of the Group Coaching Package will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, calculated from the date we receive your written notice of cancellation.

Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. Coaching calls made available to you before we receive written notice of cancellation will not be refundable, whether or not you attended them.

Where access to the Online Programme has already been provided, the Online Programme is non-refundable.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

6.6 Refund Method

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the same method of payment used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds will be processed within the time required by applicable consumer law.

6.7 Model Cancellation Form

If you wish to cancel during the statutory cancellation period, you may use the following form. Use of this form is optional.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Participants must engage respectfully with the Programme provider and other participants.

  • Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or other seriously inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the Programme.

  • Programme materials are provided for the participant's personal use only and may not be shared, copied or redistributed without permission.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All Programme content, including but not limited to text, videos, worksheets and other course materials, is the intellectual property of The Catholic Psychotherapist or is used with appropriate permission.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, share or modify Programme materials without express written consent.

9. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a participant's access to the Programme where there has been a serious or repeated breach of these Terms and Conditions, including serious misconduct towards the Programme provider or other participants.

Any financial consequences of termination will be determined fairly in light of the circumstances and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

10. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will apply to future purchases from the effective date of the revised Terms. Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to a purchase already made unless required by law or expressly agreed with the participant.
